Upcoming classes and workshops at Windsong Studio & Gallery
for September 2010

Tuesday Afternoon - eight week class for those with experience and who like to work on their own projects with support, instruction and guidance. Starting September 28.

Thursday morning an - eight week course with four weeks of drawing leading to four weeks of beginning watercolour. Starting September 30.

Thursday Afternoon class - an eight week course working with Acrylics. This class will be project driven with specific instruction and demonstrations. Starting September 30.

Wednesday mornings - I will be teaching an eight week watercolour class for Acadia Lifelong Learning. This begins Wednesday September 29.

Afternoon classes at my studio will start 1:30 until 4:00 pm. Tea at 3:00 pm
The Thursday morning class starts at 9:30 until 12:00 noon tea at 10:30am
Classes are limited to eight spaces.
All eight week classes are $ 95.00 no tax. All day-long workshops are $45.00 no tax

WORKSHOPS

Pen and Ink
Drawing with pen and ink. Learning various marks and shading to achieve beautifully detailed images. Good quality drawing paper or 90lb watercolour paper will be required and a water-proof, acid free pen, 0.5mm will do nicely.
Saturday September 11 9:30 am- 3:30pm
$ 45.00 per person.

The Rural Landscape - barns and other buildings
In this one-day workshop we will look and the rural landscape, focusing on rustic buildings and old barns. These venerable members of the countryside have a special quality all their own. Photo reference, possible on location work if there is interest.
Saturday September 18 All media welcome-
9:30 am – 3:30 pm
$ 45.00 per person

Valley Gold -Landscapes in Watercolour
A one-day workshop that not only focuses on composition and colour, but also on the wonderful qualities of watercolour .We will work from photo reference, so feel free to bring some along.
Paper should be 140lb CP, no larger than 11 x 14.
Friday, October 1 9:30 am - 3:30pm
$45.00 per person

Classes will be held at Windsong Studio & Gallery, 1331 Victoria Road in Aylesford.
